Manufacturer: Geneza Pharmaceuticals
Pharmaceutical name: Sildenafil
Pack: 1 pack (50 tabs (50 mg/tab))
The primary ingredient in GP Viagra 50 is Sildenafil Citrate. This substance is classified as a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor and is primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (male impotence). Sildenafil Citrate enhances the body's response to sexual stimulation by improving smooth muscle relaxation through a chemical called nitric oxide, which increases blood flow to the penis, allowing for an erection to be achieved and maintained. Additionally, Sildenafil Citrate can be used for treating pulmonary arterial hypertension.

The suggested dosage is 50 mg, taken 30-60 minutes prior to sexual activity. The dose may be adjusted based on side effects, increasing to 100 mg or decreasing to 25 mg as needed. The highest recommended dosage is 100 mg, and it should not be taken more than once within a 24-hour period. It is advised to avoid high-fat meals, grapefruits, or grapefruit juice while taking this medication.

Middle-aged individuals might experience heightened sensitivity to the drug's side effects. Possible effects include dizziness or vision disturbances. It's advisable to limit alcohol consumption. Prior to using this medication, inform your doctor or pharmacist of your medical history, particularly if you have conditions such as sickle cell disease, high or low blood pressure, severe dehydration, a history of painful or prolonged erections (priapism), eye issues, heart conditions, kidney or liver disease, pulmonary edema, or deformities of the penis (including angulation, fibrosis/scarring, or Peyronie's disease). Sildenafil does not provide protection against sexually transmitted infections, including HIV.

GP Viagra 50 should not be taken alongside other medications that induce erections or any nitrates, as this can lead to dangerously low blood pressure, resulting in dizziness, fainting, heart attack, or stroke. It is also not suitable for women, children, or individuals allergic to any component of the drug.

Common side effects include upset stomach, headaches, flushing, heartburn, nasal congestion, dizziness, diarrhea, irregular heartbeat, shortness of breath, and prolonged (over 4 hours) or painful erections. Vision changes such as increased light sensitivity or blurred vision may also occur, although severe allergic reactions are uncommon.

This medication should not be combined with nitrates, recreational drugs containing amyl or butyl nitrite, alpha-blockers, other erectile dysfunction medications, or antihypertensive drugs. Grapefruit juice may elevate sildenafil levels in the bloodstream, and a high-fat meal can diminish its efficacy.

GP Viagra 50 is used as needed, making missed doses unlikely. If an overdose is suspected, seek medical attention immediately. Symptoms of overdose include chest pain, nausea, irregular heartbeats, and sensations of light-headedness or fainting.

Store the medication at room temperature between 68-77 degrees F (20-25 degrees C), away from light and moisture. Avoid storing drugs in the bathroom and keep them out of reach of children and pets.
